Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches
Rhiannon is the first PC game developed by Arberth Studios an independent game developer based in West Wales. As a story driven adventure Rhiannon contains over 1500 images to enable navigation in a simple point and click ‘slide show’ style interface. Most of the images for Rhiannon were created from 3d models using Form z a proprietary 3d modeling application. Containing between 20 and 30 locations and around 200 objects to discover, Rhiannon took approximately 2 years to complete with Noel and Karen Bruton the other two members of the Arberth Studios team. Noel undertook most of the programming and music and Karen - puzzle creation, post production and animation.
Coven
Coven is currently in production - originally titled The Haunting of River Castle and due for release in 2010.
The story goes back to the witch-hunts of the The English Civil War and though set in the present day you will traverse history to discover the truth behind the tragic circumstances and demise of Castle Avon. Conspiracy and madness are waiting for you behind the locked doors and bricked up walls of this small Welsh town. Brush up on the ‘occult’ as you will be requiring all of your wits about you. The towns folk may not be on your side as you delve deeper into their personal lives and possessions.
Whatever you do... don’t look behind you!
